As phone enthusiasts hope to see the first Blackberry smartphone that runs on the Android OS, there is news that claim of a second BlackBerry smartphone that will run on the same OS.
Thanks to the renowned Android Smartphone, the new Priv brings a fresh set of software applications. The chief executive officer of the company has hinted that there are more devices coming to add on the Priv.
Enthusiastic users of Android-powered BlackBerry smartphones will see what the second device to run on this platform is probably. Images of the phone have leaked showing the possible design of the second device.
The new smartphone will be known as BlackBerry Vienna, according to the leaked images. When this second smartphone will be put head to head with the just released Priv, the Vienna takes more of the appeal of BlackBerry, thanks to its taller form factor aimed at accommodating the device's touchscreen. The new device comes with highly visible full QWERTY keyboard which are familiar for BlackBerry users as reported by Neurogadget.
The leaked images of the BlackBerry Vienna reveal that it may replace the soft navigation keys like most recent Android devices have by hard keys that correspond to the home buttons.
The leaked images have also revealed that the device will come in various color variants such as silver/white, orange, green as well as blue. However, there is no confirmation whether BB will go ahead with releasing the device with all of the colors.
Tablet 123 said when the new Priv is put head to head with the second device, the Vienna takes some more of the appeal of BlackBerry's taller form that is directed at accommodating the touchscreen of the device.
The new smartphone appears to have cameras on back and front, and furnished with a LED flash.
