Warren Buffett Net Worth: One of Forbes' Most Powerful People Shared His Secret To Becoming Rich

One of the richest people worldwide is none other than the Berkshire Hathaway CEO, Warren Buffett. At the age of 85, he now has an estimated net worth of $63.7 billion. Buffett earned the number 13 spot on Forbes Most Powerful People. Berkshire Hathaway owns several companies such as Geico, Dairy Queen, and Fruit of the Loom. It is now dubbed as the fourth most valuable company in the United States.

He is known for his corporate investments and his long term success smart investing. Buffett just landed a major deal this August where his Berkshire Hathaway agreed to shell out $37 billion for Precision Castparts, a maker of aerospace and industrial parts. As of this year, he teamed up with 3G Capital, which is a firm run by Brazilian billionaires. They opened up investment deals for Kraft Foods, Heinz, Burger King, and coffeehouse chain Tim Hortons.

Celebrity Net Worth was then able to report on how Warren Buffett got so rich. As per the website, during one of his interviews with the motivational speaker Tony Robbins, he was asked on why he got extremely rich. In one of the episodes of his podcasts The School of Greatness, Robbins asked Buffett:

"What made you the wealthiest man in the world?"

He then added: "And he smiled at me and said, 'three things: Living in America for the great opportunities, having good genes so I lived a long time, and compound interest'."

It may be a simple answer, but it is a typical answer for Buffett. He would continually reject notions that his fellow billionaires would cling to such as hard work and intelligence which stated that these are the only factors necessary to acquire wealth. Some of the greatest factors that contributed to Buffett's worth are time and compound interest, which are both important factors in his own personal fortune.
