"Castle" season 8 aired its fall finale episode on Monday night that featured Rick Castle and Kate Beckett deciding on whether or not they will fix their marriage.
"Mr. & Mrs. Castle" also saw the couple teaming up to find out what exactly happened to a cruise ship performer who was killed on the boat.
At one point during the episode, Rick told Kate that he is aware that she's working with Vikram on LokSat.
However, the couple's problem didn't necessarily just end there. After Kate admitted what she's been doing for the past couple of weeks, Rick told her that he feels she doesn't trust him.
Fans were a bit surprised to see Rick expressing his thoughts about Kate and their marriage.
However, in season 8 episode 8, he finally gathered up the courage to do so.
Another surprising moment during the episode centered on Kate's reaction to what Rick told her, according to Design N Trend.
Apparently, Kate wanted Rick back, and she also wants him to work with her on LokSat.
The couple eventually reunited towards the end of "Mr. & Mrs. Castle," and they even sealed their marriage with another steamy kiss.
Unfortunately, fans are still unhappy with what they saw on the hit ABC series.
On TV Line's site, one fan @Big Mike wrote, "Hopefully Rick finds his b*lls during the break. When he started lecturing her about her bad behavior, I was happy... finally the characters were acting like real people! Then Beckett batted her eyes, said 'pwetty pwease' and he deposited his manhood directly into her purse. Disgusting."
Another fan @i just have to say wrote, "Beckett doesn't deserve him. While Castle is far from perfect, when he loves someone, he gives his heart 100%. There's no halfway with him."
"Castle" season 8 will return to ABC on Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. ET.
