'90 Day Fiance' Seaon 3 Episode 7 Recap: Nikki Calls Mark Weird, Alexei Rejects Modelling Career

Tension and troubles continued to bombard the six couples in "90 Day Fiance" season 3 episode 7, aired last Sunday, Nov. 22. With the season finale just a few weeks away, and their 90-day time limit nearing its end, the couples need to work through their differences so they can say "I do."

Beginning with Nikki and Mark, who definitely have a lot of issues to sort through. Nikki, 19, who is from the Philippines, feels alone and lonely. She calls the only friend she has in the U.S.: her soon-to-be stepdaughter, 21-year-old Elise. The two go shopping for dresses, but when the clerk asks Nikki if she's marrying her best friend, Nikki answers, "I'm marrying a weird guy."

Later, Mark, 58, decides to spend some quality time with Nikki. He takes her to Ocean City, but on the way, he keeps talking about his ex-wife. Nikki is having none of it and rolls her eyes. Mark admits that unfortunately, his past plays a huge deal in his present life, but promises to be more careful. Nikki gives him an ultimatum to improve, or else she'll go home to the Philippines.

In Florida, Carolina's Visa has been approved, and Fernando's mom prepares for her arrival. She has doubts over her 22-year-old Colombian future daughter-in-law, but Fernando brushes her off. At the airport, Carolina finally arrives and she's terrified about meeting Ferando's family. He assures her that his mom is not scary at all. When they meet, Fernando's mom seems to be set on being antagonistic towards Carolina, as she basically tells her that she hates Colombians. Fernando just stands there in silence, and doesn't defend his fiance.

In Idaho, Aleksandra and his Mormon fiance, Josh, are planning their wedding, which is only a week away. Aleksandra's parents arrive for the event, but are wary of Josh's strange culture and lifestyle. They are most worried about the Mormon's infamous plural marriages, but Josh's mom assures them that "that was a different time." However, she later admits that her own great-grandfather had four wives.

As for Kyle and Noon, Kyle tries to make Noon feel more comfortable in New Orleans. He takes her to a Thai Buddhist temple, hoping that would make Noon feel more at home. Instead, Noon feels homesick, and misses her family who is stuck in Bangkok due to visa issues. Without her parents' support, Noon wants Kyle's family to be more involved in their wedding. However, Kyle has been estranged from his parents for a long time. He doesn't want to talk about it, but Noon encourages him, telling him that in Thai culture, families are important.

In Pennsylvania, Melanie and Devar have 32 days to wed. The two talk about their finances. The 33-year-old Pennsylvania native Melanie is paying for everything in the wedding, and her bank account is depleted. Despite this, she goes wedding dress-shopping. While fitting a dress, she honestly admits that she has doubts over her relationship with Devar.

Meanwhile, Loren and Alexei, the good-looking couple from New York and Israel, are fighting over Alexei's modelling career. Loren is pushing her Israeli fiance to be the next top model, but Alexei tells her he has other ambitions. In the end, Loren backs off and supports Alexei's decision.

"90 Day Fiance" has two more episodes left before it closes season 3. It airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on TLC.
