Best and Worst Moments in American Music Awards 2015 [PICS]

Everyone has been watching out for American Music Awards every year as entertainment's hottest artists gather for this memorable awards night.

A report by The Washington Post has rounded up all the best happenings during the event as well as the worst and surely, everyone will be talking about it for the next few weeks.

One of the best moments during the AMA is the tribute of Celine Dion to the victims of Paris attacks by singing Edith Piaf's "Hymne a L'amour." Jared Leto also made a statement tribute and said "Tonight we honor the victims of unimaginable violence that has taken place this year in Paris and around the world. France matters. Russia matters. Syria matters. Mali matters. The Middle East matters. The U.S. matters. The entire world matters - and peace is possible."

Another best moment of the night was Jennifer Lopez' opening number of dancing to this year's biggest hit mash-up. The songs included in her number were "Can't Feel My Face," "Anaconda," "Trap Queen," "Bad Blood," "Hotline Bling" and "Thinking Out Loud."

One Direction was somehow able to redeem themselves after snagging an award as well as the hearts of many with their performance of their latest single, "Perfect" and two others of the most powerful performances of the night was Demi Lovato and Alanis Morissette's collaboration in "You Oughta Know."

Though a lot of great scenes were happening during the awards night, there were also a fair share of not-so-good moments. One in the list was Coldplay's performance their new song "Adventure of a Lifetime" where gorillas joined them and ran around the stage, as if neon decorations and confetti were not enough for the audience to lose focus on the song itself.

One of the worst moments was Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth's on-stage make out sesh. The "make-out scene" happened during the ending of their performance of "Marvin Gaye" where the two lock lips way longer than expected and in front of millions of people.

According to Fox News, Luke Bryan, who won favorite male artist - country, commented on the two's performance. He said "I'm still laughing at Charlie and Meghan smooching."
