Selena Gomez bought a new home in Calabasas, Calif., spending $3 million on the purchase, reports TMZ. Unfortunately for the "Come & Get It" singer, boyfriend Justin Bieber left the posh neighborhood earlier this month for Atlanta.
The 21-year-old singer's new home covers 7,200 square feet and includes five bedrooms.
Gomez was not keen to buy a place in the community where Bieber lived after the latter's numerous problems with his neighbors, including an egging incident that ended in the police raiding Bieber's house. Nevertheless, her new home is not only close to Bieber's old home, which he sold to Khloe Kardashian, but also a few minutes away from the Kardashian home in Hidden Hills.
Earlier, Gomez lived in an apartment just above the home where her parents lived, later acquiring a place in Tarzana, Los Angeles, for $2.9 million.
The "Stars Dance" singer has been in the news recently for her renewed romance with Bieber, who is reportedly set on proposing. While the two are often seen together these days, Gomez's family and friends are supposedly unhappy about the reunion.
Last year, Gomez told Life & Style that she was looking at places in the posh Calabasas neighborhood.
"Selena is very close to making an offer on a house inside the Calabasas development where Justin lives," the magazine reported at the time, although nothing materialized then.
