Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart continue to make the headlines despite the fact that the couple has called it quits long time ago. While rumors surrounding the "Twilight" stars vary from dating to jealousy rumors, will Stewart and Pattinson reunite on the big screens?
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson catapulted to fame following their appearance in "The Twilight Saga" as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, respectively. Romance began to blossom between the two and fans all over the world tagged them as "RobSten."
However, things started to fall between the two after the "Twilight" series ended with "Breaking Dawn" and they began taking on separate projects. Stewart was also involved in a scandal with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. Since the couple's breakup, many fans continue to hope that Stewart and Pattinson will reunite on the big screen, if not in real life.
Fashion & Style noted that the movie adaptation of "Twilight" became such a hit partly due to the chemistry between Pattinson and Stewart, apart from the fact that the story and some of its characters were very much relatable to most people.
"The two actors did a great job of embodying their characters and bringing their star-crossed romance to life," the publication wrote.
While fans are still hoping to see Stewart and Pattinson reunite on the big screens, the "American Ultra" actress recently opened up on her breakup with Pattinson.
"It was incredibly painful," the 25-year-old actress said, according to Morning Ledger. "Not all of my friends have been through what I've been through, or what some people have tasted at a relatively-speaking young age, and we were not expected to do anything."
Stewart is currently rumored to be dating her "Equals" co-star Nicholas Hoult. Pattinson, on the other hand, is engaged to FKA Twigs and the couple was recently spotted together at the Heathrow Airport in London.
