Is Will Smith and his wife Jada going through a rocky relationship? As per Hollywood Life, Will described their marriage as, "grueling and excruciating" but instead of giving up, they became stronger.
During his interview with Entertainment Tonight, Will openly share how he and his wife kept their marriage for 20 years. He did admit that their marriage was difficult and they went through a few bumps, but it didn't stop them from keeping their family together.
"We've been married 20 years and we've been asking ourselves [what's the secret to marriage] and really at the end of the day it's just not quitting," Will said. "You can't expect it to be easy. It's like our marriage was the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And you know we're just not quitters."
When Will was asked in what made their marriage stronger, he then answered:
"I would say is that we never went into working on our relationship. We only ever worked on ourselves individually, and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously."
He then shared what he's like as a parent:
"As a parent, my son played football. I loved it. I watched him, I had no idea of the long term potential negative impact of repetitive head trauma."
Over the past decades, both Will and Jada have been plagued with divorce rumors, but he would continually slam them. He once posted on Facebook clarifying their divorce issue. Smith even stated that if ever he and his wife will be having a divorce, he himself would be the one to announce it.
"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself! #Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's,"
