Bill Cosby's rape charges have made a huge impact on his once troubled-free life. Since May, he was not seen in public after new rape allegations were thrown on the actor. On Sunday, Cosby was seen walking out of his New York's Upper East Side apartment looking weak as he was assisted by his wife, Camille on a rare outing.
Cosby, 78, a "disgraced comic" came out of his "well protected lair" after a few months of hiding, according to Daily Mail. He looked frail as her wife was seen very supportive of him while walking and clutching his arm upright as they made their way to their car. The sighting of the couple comes a year after Cosby's rape charges began to emerge again. The 78-year-old and Camille left their Massachusetts mansion to be their four children living in New York.
The pair was last pictured together on Nov.6, 2014, when they gave an interview with NPR to defend claims of Cosby's rape charges. Reports say that the "I Spy" actor drugged and raped more than a dozen women in the last many decades. Since last year, his victims have started to come out one by one. More than 50 women on the list, accuses the popular comedian of molesting and drugging them. All the allegations were dismissed by his chief spokeswoman, Monique Pressley and attorney martin Singer, PEOPLE reports.
Meanwhile, actor and comedian Bob Saget gave an interview with HuffPost Live on Tuesday, Nov.24 about his views about Cosby's rape charges. When asked his point of view, whether the standup comedian and author has retained history of comedy, even after the growing rape allegations, his reply was sincere and straight, Us Weekly reports.
"I think any human being that does things that are despicable to other human beings will be slightly tarnished by history," he replied. "I went to [Cosby's alma mater] Temple University, and he was a mentor of mine. ... It's very sad. I think the answer is obvious: The man has been tarnished. And it's just sad for all of the people involved."
