NBA Rumors: Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry Are the Same but in a Different Way

Comparing one player from another is not an easy thing to do; in fact it would likely be absurd if you would be comparing players from different era or time. Like just with the case of the current NBA Most Valuable Player, Stephen Curry, and the NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant.

Both players have been known in the league for their killer instinct and the assassin like ability, Curry and Bryant carries same mentality about winning but actualizes both in a relatively different way. There is no question on the skills and talents of the said players, but on how they display their talents and the things that comes after the show are quite different.

Luke Walton, now the coach of Curry and former teammate of Kobe Bryant, compared and contrasted the commonalities and differences of both players and their mindset. According to mercurynews, Walton stated that;

"It's weird because it's the same edge and killer instinct in him. But it's completely different as far as the manner about it." He then added that, "Steph, you can see when he gets it, and he wants it, which is the exact same as Kobe. They just go about it in a different way. But he's got that killer instinct in him. He wants to put that team away."

During the time of Kobe, where he was the talk of the town because of his remarkable plays and aggressiveness and not about his injuries, his ways of handling the game and fellow players was not that delightful. He was known of being proud of his superiority, shaming his opponent and criticizing his teammate's mistakes.

 On the other hand, Stephen Curry is doing same thing but in a different way. In sense, Curry has a killer instinct but still exercises humility and teamwork while pulling off some crazy court moves. Curry would rather let his play do the talking. As Draymond Green has stated, "Kobe will tell you, 'I'm about to kill you'. Steph won't tell you. He's just going to kill you."
