Jordana Brewster of 'Fast and Furious' buys new LA home

Jordana Brewster of "Fast and Furious" fame and her film producer husband Andrew Form have recently sold their Sunset Strip home and acquired a larger residence in Mandeville Canyon, an affluent Los Angeles community, reports RealEstalker.

According to property records, the couple acquired the property in March 2011 for $3,375,000 and put it up for sale in early February for an asking price of $3,795,000 in the hopes of moving somewhere bigger with their newborn. The property was purchased by a tech sector venture capitalist based in Los Angeles for $3,767,000.

The RealEstalker reports that the 2,868-square-foot gated property includes three bedrooms and four full bathrooms, in addition to a living area with a fireplace and an expensively equipped center island kitchen. The home also features a sophisticated screening room with seating capacity for at least eight people and a den.

On the outside, the property has an entertainment and recreation area at the back of the home. It includes a dining terrace and a built-in kitchen. The exteriors also include a swimming pool and a spa.

Brewster and Form are reported to have spent $4,640,000 on their new home located in the affluent Mandeville Canyon community. Built in the 1930s, the place has six bedrooms and six full bathrooms. The posh home sits on a nearly one-acre lot and offers 5,285 square feet of living space. This property was once owned by the late James Poe, an Oscar-winning screenwriter famed for movies like "Around the World in 80 Days" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Before purchasing either home, 33-year-old Brewster owned a contemporary home she purchased for $880,000 in May 2002 and sold for $1.75 million in May 2011.
