Christian Audigier, Ed Hardy designer, relists his luxury home in Los Angeles

Christian Audigier, French fashion designer, has put up his 9,276-square-foot luxury home in Los Angeles up for sale again for $9,199,000 million, reports Zillow.

Built in 1925, this Mediterranean-style home covering two floors offers seven bedrooms and seven full bathrooms, in addition to five fireplaces. Located at upscale 600 S Muirfield Road, this house was designed by the famous architect Gene Verge, Sr., who also designed the famed Italian home owned by filmmaker and actor Buster Keaton.

Audigier, who established the successful Ed Hardy label, listed this stylish home in 2011 for $8,265,000 but failed to find a buyer, even with a free Rolls-Royce Phantom 5 thrown in. This time, he has changed his agent and adopted a new marketing approach with a different asking price - and no car.

According to the listing, as you walk into the compound of this gated estate, you are immediately engulfed in a world of unassuming opulence. In addition to the bedrooms and bathrooms, the 8,276-square-foot living area of the main house includes an extravagant master suite with an attached private terrace, a private gym, gourmet kitchen and an assortment of original details with designer touches.

On the outside, the property includes several patios, courtyards and gardens. There is also an outdoor kitchen, barbeque, dining area, swimming pool, cabana and bar. The estate is complete with two separate constructions with enough space for use as an office and/or guest house, and a four-car garage.

The property is listed with John Duerler of Hancock Homes Realty.

Earlier this year, 55-year-old Audigier listed his five-bedroom, four-bathroom 1925 Tudor home at 219 N. Norton Ave., Los Angeles for $3,199,000 million. He purchased his current home for $2,695,000 in 2007. Since then, Audigier sold his design company for $62 million and made several attempts to lease the 5,400-square-foot property.
