Chris Brown, Grammy Award-winning singer, has just downsized the asking price of his 3,000-square-foot modern Hollywood Dell home near Lake Hollywood by $130,000, reports Realtor.
The hip hop celebrity originally listed his home for $1.92 million in December following troubles with his neighbors over displaying unusual murals painted on the exteriors of his property.
The price cut notwithstanding, Brown, who is currently lodged in prison after being thrown out from an anger-management rehabilitation program ordered by a court last month, is set to make a profit, having acquired the place for $1.55 million in November 2011.
Designed by architect Jay Vanos, Brown's new home comes with custom LED site lighting, avant-garde decor and luxury finishes. Located just seconds from top Hollywood studios and nightlife, the 2008 home is clad in concrete, steel and glass, and includes three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. A private elevator takes you from the garage area to the 24-year-old singer's residence.
According to the listing, the master suite is located on the top floor of the home and is complete with a separate red tub and a glass shower together with massage features. A glass wall in the master suite provides views of the canyon. The property also includes an art studio, a Baffi kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a separate dining space and breakfast counter.
The exterior, with its stone waterfalls, fire pits and projection screens, is excellent for enjoying the best of California lifestyle. It also features a pool and spa complete with cabanas and swim jets.
The home also boasts a sophisticated security system and Crestron smart home controls. It comes with a two-car garage.
This property is listed with Manuela Villa of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
Prior to shifting to his Hollywood Bell home, Brown was living in a 3,100-square-foot top-floor penthouse in the West Hollywood area, where his former neighbors also complained about his wild and crazy lifestyle. He listed the property for $1,895,000 in May 2012 and it is still on the market with an asking price of $1,599,000.
