Divorce rumors about Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo had been making rounds on the internet. But Levine has denied said rumors despite reports that they are having trouble in arriving at the same decision about having a child.
The issue is said to be straining their relationship but the "Maroon 5" singer seems to prefer dealing with their family issues on private than to spread it open book to the media like what happened to his fellow judges in "The Voice."
It is reported that the "Victoria's Secret" model is ready to have a baby but Levine is pumping the brakes since he isn't ready to be a father yet and is apparently hesitant to become one, OK! Magazine reported.
Levine is busy with his career writing songs, recording and touring with "Maroon 5." The popular band will also have a Latin American tour in February and March of 2016 which will be followed by a North American tour in September 2016. Aside from that, he is also a regular judge on "The Voice."
Prinsloo is merely waiting for her husband to slow down so that they can plan a baby and start building their family. Levine wants to have kids but he isn't ready right now and he needs to work hard because he "knows that the entertainment industry is fickle and he needs to ride that wave until it dies," Celeb Dirty Laundry noted.
Since Prinsloo wants to have a baby, she seems to stress Levine about it which is causing trouble on their marriage. But the two, who got married last year, denies it. As a matter of fact, Levine is quick to slam the rumors.
"That's so mean. We're so happy, why would you do that?" Levine told Elle. "We don't ever pay attention to those things. It's funny timing because we were on our second honeymoon and I got this influx of texts like, 'Are you guys okay? What's going on?' and people also listen to this stupid stuff that they write about."
Levine's divorce issues remain low-key unlike that of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani who are both divorcing their exes and are allegedly dating each other.
