Fossil Q Founder Features and Release Date: Fossil Releases First Touchscreen Watch Today and It's Powered by Android Wear

Q Founder is the newest addition to Fossil's first touchscreen watch, which is engineered with Intel Innovation and powered by Android Wear. This Fossil watch tracks activity, gives notifications, connects to favorite apps, and has customizable digital watch faces that are sure to suit different lifestyles.

With refined steel and classic leather accents as well as a stunning touchscreen display, Q Founder will let users know when there is an incoming text message or call, will notify you of appointments, and even when the flight is on time with smart Google Now cards. What's more interesting is it can also respond or listen to commands via voice.

According to the report of PR Newswire, Q Founder has the true flexibility it offers to customers. With its ability to pair with both iOS and Android devices and the personalization opportunities it brings, it will surely complement users who have even the most unique personal styles. This hand device allows getting the information the user wants on a watch, and it expresses the style as well as suits what the user loves to do.

With the companion apps of Fossil Q and Android Wear, users can personalize the watch face, receive display notifications, and track activity.

Q Founder will be available in select Fossil stores and online on Nov. 25, with a starting price of $275. The watch is compatible with both iPhones and Android phones.

Fossil has not provided yet a firm release date for Q Founder, but it is noted that it will be available in time for the holiday season.

Fossil is not the only traditional watchmaker to jump into smartwatches. Tag Heuer also has plans to announce its long-awaited "luxury" smartwatch with Android Wear in November.
