Victoria Tennant’s Bel Air property up for grabs at $6.99 million

Victoria Tennant has reportedly listed her Bel Air home for $6.99 million with Hilton and Hyland's Juliette Hohnen.

According to the Realtor Blog, London-born Tennant owned the home for 16 long years along with her lawyer husband Kirk Stambler. The couple purchased the property in 1988 for just $1.62 million.

Zillow's property history shows that the house, built in 1949, was offered for rent sometime in 2010.

The interiors were redone by prominent designer Kathryn Ireland, who has designed the homes of affluent celebrities like Drew Barrymore and Tennant's ex-husband Steve Martin.

Comprised of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the house spans an area of 3,824 square feet. Sitting on a 0.81-acre lot, the traditional residence has French doors and windows, hardwood floors and beamed ceilings.

The house has a formal living room, a dining area, a modern kitchen, a library and a nursery. Outside, the house has a swimming pool with an attached spa, a patio in the rear of the house and a private garden.

"Decorated by Katherine Ireland, there are few homes in the area that feel so comfortable and stylish," the listing reads, adding: "The current owners added square footage including a light filled office with soaring ceilings and downstairs family room."

Agent Hohnen praised the home in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"This feels like an English home transplanted to Bel-Air. It's an extremely private home, and is perfect for people who want that Hotel Bel-Air feeling, but with an entire home of their own," Hohnen told the publication.

Hohnen, herself a former actress also from the United Kingdom, has worked with a number of celebrity clients, including Kimora Lee Simmons and Emily Mortimer.
