‘Rainbow Six Siege' Updates: New Trailer Reveals PC-Only Features; Ubisoft Announces Recommended PC Specs

Ubisoft has partnered with NVIDIA to present the visual prowess of "Rainbow Six Siege" on Windows PC. The team has released a video trailer showing PC users how the game looks on a computer.

This is definitely good news for a growing number of Siege fans. Ubisoft has mentioned before that the game could be the company's bestselling first-person shooter game, and it could eventually attract more gamers than Far Cry 4.

According to GameSpot, with the correct graphic cards and compatible specs, PC-using gamers could have richer textures and better lighting on Windows. Compared to playing the game through consoles, the PC version is reported to have smoother images.

Per Ubisoft, "The official Rainbow Six Siege minimum system requirements call for a GeForce GTX 460 with 1GB of VRAM, which will enable you to run the game at 60 frames per second at low detail levels at 1280x720 in multiplayer, and 30 frames per second in the PvE Terrorist Hunt mode."

If you want to see the quality of the video in the trailer, you need to have  a GeForce GTX 960 card for 1920x1080. GeForce GTX 970 is best suited for 2560x1440.

Siege will also release for Xbox One and PS4 with an open beta. Those who are confused about purchasing, it is recommended to check out the opening beta first, which features two modes, three maps, 14 operators, as well as some PvE Terrorist Hunt, according to gamingbolt. The open beta across all platforms begins this week so the game makers can get user feedback before the actual release.

The game was supposed to be released last month, but it was delayed until December 1st. Watch the official Rainbow Six Siege NVIDIA GameWorks Trailer here!
