It seems like it, but not really.
H&M (renamed as Happy & Merry for the holiday campaign) recently released its holiday commercial which features international music icon Katy Perry.
The commercial shows Perry as a fairy godmother that gives joy around her. In the commercial, we see the new holiday-themed designs of shirts, sweaters and dresses from the new collection of H&M which targets the Christmas season. Watch the commercial here.
According to an interview for Yahoo! Style, Perry admitted that she was a long-time customer of the brand. "I swear, I’m not pitching anything to you here, but when I was a teenager, we didn’t have a lot of money, and H&M really changed the game for me. I would go to thrift stores and I would go to H&M, and I would put outfits together for myself, and feel like I looked like a hundred dollars when really, I’d spent maybe $30. And I can still do that now with their clothes! It made a huge difference in how I felt about myself as a kid, and that’s such a big deal to me, and it’s a big reason why I’m so excited to do the campaign. I’m not trying to sell it, I’m just honestly telling you, it was a big part of my teenage years. A positive part… also, the nose piercing is from when I was a teenager. I pierced it myself when I was thirteen."
But pause the video around the middle part. There you can see a hunky, shirtless man who's sitting on a red car and holding a grey cat that might be a familiar face. That guy is Sean O' Pry, the model who portrayed an ex-boyfriend at Taylor Swift's music video for "Blank Space".
We're not sure if the hunky model knew that he will work with Perry for this project, or maybe he didn't really mind the feud between those two.
The two superstars reportedly starting an ongoing feud when both of them dated singer John Meyer. When Swift and Meyer broke up (of course she wrote a song called "Dear John" about what happened), Perry and Meyer began dating when Perry's relationship with British comedian Russel Brand fell apart.
Aside from man problems, it was reported that Perry hired some back-up dancers to be part of her world tour while they were part of Swift's world tour.
Although it was never confirmed by Swift, her song "Bad Blood" was supposedly wriitten for Perry. Aside from this, the Left Shark was previously spotted during a performance in her tour while laughing it all off. The Left Shark was a character from Perry's super bowl performance, as well as her world tour.
