‘Veronica Mars’ Ryan Hansen buys Studio City home for $1.35 million

Ryan Hansen, best known for his role as Dick Casablancas in the popular drama-mystery series and comeback movie "Veronica Mars," has reportedly purchased a home in Studio City, Los Angeles for $1.35 million.

Breaking news of the sale, the Los Angeles Times reported that Tom Jacomb, the "Puss in Boots" producer, was the seller.

News of the purchase comes less than a month after the release of the "Veronica Mars" movie, which was funded through the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. The campaign raised $2 million within a day and $5.7 million in a month's time, according to The Pendulum.

Allyson Carter of Rodeo Realty represented the home; Preston Caffrey of Ocean Equity Solutions was Hansen's listing agent. The home was listed for $1.37 million and closed April 3.

According to the records, the residence is a 3,993-square-foot, single-family home comprised of four bedrooms and four full and one half bathrooms. Interiors of the house boast paneled hardwood flooring, mixed wooden cathedral and drywall ceilings and French doors and windows.

The home has formal living and dining rooms, a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast island, a family room and a den.

Outside, the house has a swimming pool with a pool shed, a garden area and a parking garage that can easily accommodate two cars.

The listing describes the place as a "French country mini estate" with exquisite features that complete the "European feel."
