'Tekken 7' Release Date: Katsuhiro Harada Confirmed Improving the Game’s Graphics for the Console Versions!

It is speculated that the forthcoming console version of "Tekken 7" will be even better than those released photos in the arcades.

A gamer took to Twitter to know if the images for "Tekken 7" will be better for the console version. This is as he observed that the visuals remained the same for months now even during the post-updates.

Katsuhiro Harada, the "Tekken 7" director, answered via Twitter: "Working on new graphics." This is an implication that the game's graphics will be way better on console versions. The game director added that the game runs on "Unreal Engine 4" and seems gorgeous in the arcades, though there are a lot of elements that needed improvements. Harada and the entire team are working together to make "Tekken 7" look great.

The developers confirmed that "Tekken 7" will be launched for PS4 during the Paris Games Week. The PS4 will have PlayStation VR support and exclusive content. The Xbox One version of the game is yet to be announced, but it's a possibility on Microsoft platforms.

When it comes to a release date, it still has to be confirmed by Bandai Namco. The studio is still working on creating updates to the "Tekken 7" arcade version. Gamers are hoping that it will be launched in 2016.

"Tekken 7" was previously confirmed to be available for PlayStation 4, and the game has been tested in selected arcades in the U.S. It is also available as an arcade game in Japan. Sony also confirmed that it will support the game via PlayStation VR, but they didn't release any official details yet. The confirmation was made in the Paris Games week in October. After its launch in Japan in the early part of this year, the game was re-launched while it was still in beta stage.
