On Wednesday, the "Jealous" singer was pictured looking downcast as he picked up cigars at the V Cut Cigar Lounge in Beverly Hills, California. Nick, 23, was said unlucky in love after the 36-year-old actress reportedly called off her relationship with the Jonas Brothers singer. According to a Life & Style report via Daily Mail, the "Almost Famous" star felt insecure when she knew that he's doing a tour with Demi. Nick and Kate were rumored to be hooking up for a couple of months already.
"Kate felt Nick wouldn't be able to maintain his commitment to her while he's on the road. She thought it was best to remain single,"a source said, adding she wants to get back in the market soon and pursue several people.
Nick and Kate never admitted their relationship, but in the latest cover of Harper Bazaar, she claimed that she's single for the first time in five years. "It's nice to get acquainted with myself alone," she says, ordering a vodka and a nature's bounty plate of salmon and vegetables. "You know, the goal when you get into a relationship is not to be out of the relationship. It's to try to stay in the relationship. But if it doesn't work, you can't force those things."
For those expecting that Nick and Kate would be a real thing, it seems that it's the end of it. She is reportedly dating, some men while seeing the 23-year-old singer triggering more speculations if they are really a couple or not. The mother of two had split with the Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy in December. Meanwhile, he is romantically linked to Little Mix singer, Jade Thirlwall after breaking up with his longtime girlfriend Olivia Culpo.
