A report on Celeb Dirty Laundry stated that Amal has ditched her 7-karat engagement ring -- prompting rumors that they are on the brink of divorce. The said ring is allegedly worth $750,00.
CDL stated that Amal may have a rift with Cindy Crawford, a close friend of her husband. Additionally, it has been reported that Amal is currently way too focused on her job -- that starting a family has been less of a priority. Due to these issues, there is speculation that they might end up separating very soon.
However, she insisted that she got rid of the ring because it was too flashy when she wears it in court. Amal is known for her very high-profile clients, so she's more than conscious of the image that she puts off while at work. She said that she will opt for a humbler, less blinged up option of the ring. The Daily Mirror reported that people would always stop her to admire the huge rock on her finger; there was no way for her to be discreet about it. The source tells the news outlet "She absolutely loves the ring and won't be getting rid of it but she just wants something simpler for her big cases.'"
Contrary to reports regarding a possible divorce, George is completely fine with his wife's decision, and he totally understands the situation. Looks like his wife's welfare is his top priority!
