Zayn Malik recently spoke up about the One Direction fan fictional couple "Larry Stylinson" and dismissed rumors that there is something special going on between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. While the former 1D member has cleared up such rumors between Tomlinson and Styles, Larry shippers refuse to believe in Malik's statements and continue to 'ship the couple.
Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles have been embroiled in a so-called bromance in One Direction and their alleged secret relationship has been tagged by many fans as the famous "Larry Stylinson." Since the boys' beginnings in "The X Factor UK," fans have been piercing through every photo and every clip looking for evidences to prove that the 'shipped couple is real.
The social media is filled with such photos and videos, which have been tagged as "Larry proof" in an attempt to show everyone, including fellow Directioners, that the romance between the two is real. However, this belief has been shaken when former One Direction member, Zayn Malik spoke up and dismissed romance rumors between Tomlinson and Styles.
"There's no secret relationship going on with any of the band members," Malik said in an interview, according to MTV News. "It's not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them. They won't naturally go and put their arm around each other because they're conscious of this thing that's going on, which is not even true."
The alleged relationship between Styles and Tomlinson was said to have gone so far as affecting their friendship. While the two seemed to be the very best of friends within 1D, several fans began to notice that they were becoming distant from each other.
Malik's statements seemingly hint that such rumors were true; however, Larry shippers refuse to believe in his statements and continue to insist that "Larry Stylinson" is true. The outlet listed a couple of tweets from fans, including one from @LouisOopsHi who wrote: "People who think modest would just let Zayn walk away without letting him sign something so he can't say things about larry etc areso stupid." Inquisitr reported that fans continue to scour the Internet for clips and photos, which might be taken as yet another evidence that can help prove that the couple is real.
