The rumors surrounding the Sacramento Kings seem have no ending. After the alleged altercation of head coach George Karl and center star player DeMarcus Cousins, now the team is being dragged again into the NBA rumor mill.
According to some surfacing reports, George Karl would soon be axed by the Kings and to be replaced by John Calipari. The incident may sound familiar if you are a Rockets fan, but this time around there are still no indications or even closed door meeting being reported.
The said scenario surfaced after some comments came to fore saying that, Kings current head coach George Karl seemed to be having some problem connecting with his players in the locker room. According to aol, "George Karl just doesn't seem to get through to the players in the Kings locker room, and DeMarcus Cousins still doesn't appear to have much respect towards his head coach. Again, all this is speculation from what has been reported - and what we've seen - over the last few months."
Teamwork and communication is very vital for a team wanting to advance to the playoffs or even win the NBA title. The synergy of the team should not only remain within the players, but most especially with the coaching staff and the administration. The role of the coach is to see to it that such thing is to be followed inside and outside the court. With this problem looming in the background, it cannot be helped that team owner Vivek Ranadive would seek for the right man to establish the order and balance within his team. That is why bleacherreport reported that via aol stated that;
"The belief still is it's a matter of when, not if, Karl will be removed as the head coach. If that should happen during this season, the short-term answers are, according to owner Vivek Ranadivé - or sources say - he would like to move Nancy Lieberman into the head-coaching position, making a big splash by having the first female head coach in NBA history. Vlade Divac, the GM is more inclined to fill with Corliss Williamson for the remainder of the season. But Ranadivé's biggest dream is to have Kentucky coach John Calipari come out and coach this roster full of Kentucky players."
