Buccaneers executive Joel Glazer lists Maryland home for $4,495,000

Joel Glazer, an NFL senior executive, has recently put his mansion-estate in Bethesda, Md., up for sale for $4,495,000, reports Realtor.

The Colonial-style home, built in 1993 and renovated in 2009, sits on a two-acre lot and offers 11,783 square feet of living space. It includes five bedrooms, seven full and three half bathrooms. In addition, the property features a double-story foyer, a chef's kitchen with an island, a breakfast room, a breakfast bar, a separate dining room, a game room with a theater and a library.

The master suite is complete with separate his and her baths and a private sitting area. The home features beamed ceilings, slate roofs, wood-paneled walls and, according to the listing, a gas-lined conservatory surrounded by glass walls.

On the outside, the property boasts a sprawling entertainment area with flagstone terraces, lawns and trees. The two-acre grounds back up against the golf course at the Congressional Country Club.

Glazer, who is the co-chairman and executive vice president of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, also owns the English soccer club Manchester United. He bought the property along with his wife Angela for $4,695,000 in May 2008.

The property is listed with Marc Fleisher of the Fleisher Group, an affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate.

Glazer listed his Maryland home after he unloaded his 8,600-square-foot Harbour Island estate to his brother and Buccaneers co-chairman Bryan Glazer for $5.5 million. He and Angela bought the property in 2008. In addition, he also sold a 19th floor penthouse on a pre-war high-rise in Gold Coast, Chicago, in March for $995,000.
