When Prince Harrry landed in South Africa for his week-long tour of the Lesotho and South Africa, he was reunited with his old friend, an orphan named Mutsu Postane from Maseru Lesotho. The prince met the orphaned boy 11 years ago while he was on a trip to the African country.
According to the Us Weekly, Harry met Mutsu during the opening of the children's center in Lesotho, Africa, while helping families and orphans who are infected with AIDS and the HIV disease. Lesotho is known as the second-highest HIV prevalence and almost 23 percent of its population is infected with HIV.
Mutsu met Harry at the age of 4 in 2004 after his parents died of AIDS. The prince was inspired to do charity work on the place and help people, especially the youth, to live a healthy life. Mutsu and Harry became close friends and it had been a long few years when the two got the chance to meet again. Harry met Mutsu with a bear hug during their reunion.
After the meetup scene with his old friend, Harry chatted with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho who has helped him establish the charity for the purpose of helping the kids in the country. Harry's office located in Kensington Palace have anticipated the reunion of the two and immediately released a letter that Mutsu wrote to the Prince last year.
The content of Mutsu's letter included the results of his exams and his memories of them planting a peach tree 11 years ago. It was a short letter written in a clear and concise manner. According to the report published by People Magazine, the Prince had shown sympathy to the teen who lost his parents at such a young age. Harry felt for the orphan as he, too, lost a parent while he was young.
The prince fell in love with the area and has built a charity, which he founded together with Prince Seeiso, to honor their mothers. The Sentebale charity accommodates 96 children and teens, many of whom are the victims of extreme poverty and Lesotho's HIV/AIDS epidemic.
