There will be no episode for Grey's Anatomy Season 12 this week as the show is currently on winter break but before the series went on hiatus, it showed an episode full of revelations and fans cannot wait for its return next year.
Episode 9 is said to air on February 11 next year and it is expected to address the major revelations. To recap, Episode 8 entitled "Things We Lost in the Fire," showed a big fight between Meredith and Amelia which got the latter kicked out. Meanwhile, Alex proposed to Jo after she complains about his priorities.
ABC has yet to release an official synopsis of Episode 9 but theories are being thrown here and there. According to Cartermatt, it will be entitled 'Sound of Silence' and it will be directed by Academy award-winner Denzel Washington.
Reports say that the next few episodes will reveal what will finally happen to Jackson and April who have been struggling with marital woes ever since.
Another big question is whether Jo will say yes to Alex's marriage proposal. Many fans think that she will accept it because of the longevity of their relationship, though others are hesitant because of Jo's insecurity.
And then there's the conflict between Amelia and Meredith which according to speculations has hit Amelia so hard that she will eventually tackle a whole new range of emotional issues.
Before causing much trouble to Amelia and Meredith, Penny Blake first appeared on Season 11 as one of the doctors who failed to save Derek Sheperd. 'McDreamy's death prompted Penny to apologize to his widow. Eventually, Penny finds herself at Grey-Slon Memorial.
As Penny's mentor, Meredith is trying to keep things professional but she is clearly having a hard time. This has affected Meredith's friendship with Callie since Penny is her girlfriend.
Grey's Anatomy will come back for its 9th episode on February. Hopefully the show will be able to show how all the drama will be dealt with. Check out ABC for more updates and spoilers.
