No definite date has yet been announced as to when Riri will drop her eight album but rumours strongly suggest that Rihanna's new album 'ANTI' will be released on Friday, November 27, in time for Black Friday.
And to say the least, the whole world is very excited and waiting with great anticipation on what is sure to be another hit from the no less than amazing BADGALRIRI. And showing that she is not just a musical genius but has great marketing and publicity skills too, Rihanna cooked up a great publicity stunt for her album when on November 19 she posted a message on Twitter that says: "Excited to share this with you!!" which has an attached link to a mobile site by Samsung called ANTIdiaRy. According to the Guardian the link contains "a seven-second clip appears to trail the album with a montage of striking, dream-like visions."
In an interview with Daily Mail UK, even soul singer Adele expressed her excitement over 'ANTI'. "I am very excited about Rihanna's new record," reveals Adele. "I am on the edge - in a good way. I'm the biggest Riri fan. I love her. So I'm very excited for that record." And not only is Adele the only one anxious about the ANTI album, according to sources (iDigitalTimes), Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who is supposed to drop a new album the same day Rihanna is rumoured to release hers, respectfully delayed the release of his new album 'Royalty' to the 18th of December so that Rihanna can get all the media attention for herself.
According to the Guardian: "The cover of Anti features a picture of Rihanna as a child, with a crown covering her eyes. Laid over the image is a poem by Chloë Mitchell, written in braille, whose work has previously been used by Kanye West, Anti's executive producer. Speaking at the launch of the cover in October, she said: "The whole idea behind the braille is that people who have sight are sometimes the people who are blindest."
