Mark Cuban Pays $30,000 After Dropping the F-Word in a League of Legends Match

Everybody drops the F-word every once in a while. Its nasty and rude for most of us, but still it's just a word. Except for billionaire Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, for whom saying the F-word in a recent event came with a hefty price tag.

As previously reported, billionaire Mark Cuban has recently expressed his desire to play in a in a showcase match of "League of Legends" that took place during an Intel Extreme Masters in San Jose, California on November 21-22.

He got what he wanted and he was able to participate in the showcase match together with his team of pro "League of Legends" players against Intel CEO Brian Krazanich and his own team of pro "LoL" players. According to AV Club, during the pre-game trashtalk, which was part of the entertaining match, Cuban used the F-bomb. It was against the rules and for that he was fined a whopping $15,000 for that one nasty word.

Actually, swearing or inappropriate language was against the rules of the event but the fine will go to a good cause. The money will be given to anti-cyberbullying charity "Cybersmile."

Cuban who is also known for his philanthropic works, says it again during an interview knowing that it the money was going to charity, according to the Washington Post. He told the interviewer, "So if I say it again, I have to pay another $15,000?" He ended up paying $30,000 and he was cool about it.

Cuban, who came to the even wearing a black shirt Three Comma Club t-shirt, went on to beat Intel CEO Brian Krazanich and his team.

Meanwhile in another news, NBA team owners have reportedly bought a spot in League of Legends eSports. According to MCV UK, Sacramento Kings co-owners Andy Miller and Mark Mastrov's move to acquire the NA LCS Spot of Team Coast has led to the creation of team NRG eSports that will participate in 2016 NA LCS Spring Split. The new team has enlisted former SKT World Champion Jung "Impact" Eon-yeong and Lee "GBM" Chang-seok.
