‘Captain America Civil War’ Updates: Martin Freeman to Play the Role of a U.S. Government Security Agent?

Many folks are debating over Martin Freeman's role in the upcoming movie "Captain America: Civil War." But yesterday, Marvel released a statement that the famous Sherlock actor Martin Freeman has joined the camp of Captain America.

Though confirmed, Marvel preferred to keep mum on Freeman's role details. So from previous speculation made by some involving the name of Norman Osborn to play the mystery player, have finally shifted the spotlight to Freeman's. Only it has caused another set of assumptions- Freeman's role. Will he be playing a hero? A villain? A government agency guy?

Mr. Freeman will be playing the role of an interrogator in the film "Captain America: Civil War" and will be repeating this character in "Black Panther." If this rumor is correct, Freeman will be the second guy known to join and play honorary role in "Black Panther" other than Chadwick Boseman. Some speculations that freeman might play the role of Everett Ross, an agent by the U.S government (Wakanda).

Ross character in the comic book is someone working for the US ambassador assigned in Wakanda. Not to mention, Ross is also the government's expert guy on African nations and friends to "Black Panther" or "African King T'Challa," MoviePilot reported.

"Captain America: Civil War" will feature heroes of MCU fighting each other the approval of an Act known as Superhuman Registration Act. So this will look like to be involving the presence of the government and Freeman's role supposedly as an interrogator is feasible, Cinema Blend reported.

So what do you think? Will Mr. Martin Freeman fit your guess to play the role in "Captain America: Civil War" as a government interrogator guy? We can make assumptions and create a never ending debate, but it take a while for fans to really know and see the truth when the film gets to open in theaters.

"Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
