The leaks that were seen recently about the new Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 showed that Samsung is planning on refreshing its Galaxy A5 series of metal-clad smartphones pretty soon.

The screen resolution of one of the 2016 Samsung Galaxy A5 was exposed through a user agent profile. It is set to keep the same number of pixels as its predecessor from last year as it will come with a 720p resolution. As reported by GSM Arena, the profile of the user agent doesn't reveal anything else about the handset, but past rumors revealed that its screen size is either at 5" or 5.2".

The rear camera of the new Galaxy A5 has a 13MP resolution, while the front camera will have a 5MP resolution. The battery capacity is 2,900 mAh.

The new Galaxy A5 (2016) is expected to run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop, and like the first generation A5, it will come as well with a full metal body.

Samsung is expecting to add new editions to a few of last year's models, like the Galaxy A5 (2016). The company has already seen a lot of evidence for this new model, including hardware pictures and specs. El Gadget has reported that so far, indications pointed to the new Galaxy A5 graduating from last year's 5-inch 720p panel to a new full HD, 1080p screen of roughly the same size.

A User Agent Profile's post revealed the new Galaxy A5. And according to that post - the phone's screen resolution will once again be 720p. The post of the recent leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) will retain the 720p resolution of its predecessor.

The profile doesn't reveal anything else regarding the handset. But the screen size of the device is rumored to be 5″ or 5.2″ and could be powered by an octa-core Exynos chipset as well as will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
