T.I. rents home in Atlanta to cut down on commute

T.I., born Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., has leased a Mediterranean-style, fully furnished home in the posh Buckhead neighborhood in Atlanta for $12,000 a month for an easy commute to studios, reports TMZ.

While the 33-year-old rapper's family home in Atlanta is about a 40 minutes' drive to the studios, his new home is said to be just minutes away.

The home, located on a corner lot and built in 2006, has four bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. The living room is spacious and includes a fireplace. A report in Frontdoor says that all the rooms have vaulted ceilings and are large, airy and have plenty of natural light. The gourmet kitchen features custom-made cabinets, a dishwasher and sophisticated appliances.

It also includes a large banquet dining room with the capacity to seat at least 20 people. The home has a wet bat and a media room perfect for the Atlanta native known to pass the time watching cooking shows and Atlanta Braves games.

The exteriors of the property include a resort-style swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen.

T.I.'s decision to rent out the place has given rise to rumors that the "Trouble Man" and his wife are on the rocks. However, according to Frontdoor, sources confirm the T.I.'s bachelor pad is not a replacement for his marital home.
