Tim Curry has just sold his Los Feliz Estate located at 4724 Cromwell Avenue, Los Angeles, for $3.2 million, reports Trulia.
Built in the 1920s, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" actor's 3,365-square-foot home sits on a park-like 0.29-acre lot. According to the listing, the single-family home includes five bedrooms and three full and one half bathrooms.
The actor purchased the walled property from actor David Hyde Pierce for $2 million in 2006 before renovating it, all the while cautious to restore all the period details as well as appeal of the place.
Earlier, the actor sold three estates, all of which were purchased by top celebrities. In December 2005, the 67-year-old actor sold "The Oaks," another two-bedroom, three-bedroom home in Los Feliz, to actress Christina Ricci for $1,695,000. In September 2011, Curry sold his Los Feliz hacienda-style home located at 2666 Aberdeen Avenue to the "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson for $6,275,000. Pattinson and his former girlfriend and "Twilight" costar Kristen Stewart lived in the place before Stewart was thrown out for cheating with director Rupert Sanders. Pattinson later moved out of the house and eventually sold it in January for $6,375,000.
Curry also possessed another home in the Los Angeles area, which is currently owned by Colin Farrell.
Curry came to the limelight following his portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 cult film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," later reprising the role in the London and Los Angeles stage productions of "The Rocky Horror Show." He earned further acclaim for his film and television roles as Rooster in the film adaptation of "Annie," as Darkness in the film "Legend," as Wadsworth in the film "Clue," and as Pennywise in the horror mini-series "It."
