While there are houses that boast having been owned by a few celebrities at one point, none of them can outdo 2620 Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills, California and it's again up for grabs at $6.99 million, Fox News reports.
"It's interesting for a home to have so many owners with a strong Hollywood history," notes listing agent Heather Bilyeu.
There's no wonder why celebrities after celebrities are getting swayed by this property. It is perfectly situated above the street with "lots of foliage," which offers great privacy. "You don't see any other house, and no other house is looking at you," Bilyeu says. The estate boasts hardwood flooring, a remodeled and extended kitchen, vaulted and beamed ceilings, and outside, the stoned patio is abundant of trees.
But more than the actual features, what makes this property interesting is the string of famous people who used to own it. The following are just a few of the Hollywood elites that used to call it home:
1976
William Asher first owned the mansion and to whom it was built for. Asher produced and directed the popular TV shows "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Bewitched". It used to be smaller than its current 5,076 square footage and has also been remodeled a lot.
"It was probably a quaint, charming little farmhouse somewhere in the 2,500-square-foot range," speculates Bilyeu.
1983
One of the original girl detectives from Charlies Angels, Kate Jackson, then acquired the mansion from Asher and Montgomery (the actress who played Samantha Stephens and was once married to the producer and director).
1991
The 5-bedroom home was then acquired by master saxophonist Kenny G who added in a recording studio to cater his musical career.
1998
From musician to sports star, the mansion then became seven-time Wimbledon winner Pete Sampras' who naturally added a tennis court on the 1.66-acre estate.
2004
Hollywood producer Jon Peters, who brought us "Man of Steel" and 1989's "Batman" bought the home with his now ex-wife Mindy Peters, who remains the current owner.
"Mindy recently finished a cosmetic remodel, updating it to a Hamptons-style restoration," Bilyeu says.
So, who's next?
