Fuzipop! - the new playground; Nightclub parties for ‘kids’ in NYC (PHOTOS)

Dance floor, music, D.J, drinks....kids?

Welcome to Fuzipop! - a new event management company, which holds parties for the under-12 category, allowing them to experience a safe nightclub-like environment in New York City.

The new concept company founded by Jesse Sprague and Jenny Song offers events "focused on kids 6-12 years of age, and take place in exclusive nightclubs, typically seen in gossip columns and guarded by velvet ropes. Each club is transformed into a unique kid-centric daytime party space."

Sprague and Song stumbled upon the idea when they threw a birthday party for their one-year-old son in a club. They invited over some friends, who brought their children along and the party was a smash hit. Nobody wanted to leave, Sprague told CNN Money.

Now, Fuzipop! holds monthly events for kids in nightclubs all around the city. The parties are held in the afternoon. They charge $20 for one parent and kid and $60 for a family of four.

Inside, you'll find the usual disco-ball lighting, the lit-up dance floor and also drinks - vodka for parents and juice for the kids. There are bouncers too, who acknowledge that the kids and their parents are better behaved than the above-21 crowd that comes in after 6 pm.

Everyone only gets drunk on the fun and the music that the 8 to 9-year-old D.Js play.

There are D.J lessons given out in every Fuzipop party and also scholarships to D.J training schools. Every party has dance lessons too.

And that's how the kids party.

All that partying doesn't just spell fun for the kiddos but is also a big stress-buster for the parents.

"I went to high school with [Sprague] and we used to go clubbing together all the time. Now we can live vicariously through our kids, and we can all blow off steam together," Karli Mennuti, a friend of Sprague's, who brings her 8-year-old child to every Fuzipop event, told CNN Money.
