Lena Headey, who is best known for her role "Cersei" in the hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones," has reportedly purchased a new home in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles for $790,000.
Headey sold off her Hollywood Hills home for $1.35 million in 2013, a year after she filed for divorce from her musician husband, Peter Paul Loughran. The couple reached a settlement after two years of squabbling over finances and custody of their son, Wylie.
Headey also announced severe financial problems last year claiming she had just $5 in her account. However, the success of "Game of Thrones" has now filled up her bank account. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Headey earns $150,000 per episode and is worth $500 million.
Headey's new purchase is a sign that she is ready to move on. The residence is a 1,808-square-foot, single-family house comprised of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Though the home doesn't live up to Hollywood standards, it has a lot of potential, according to the Trulia Blog.
Interiors of the home feature hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows and wood beamed and drywall ceilings. Outside, the home has an "L-shaped" pool and ample parking space too. A covered patio and gardens form the backyard of the home.

Headey's role of Queen Cersei in the series has been one of the most important and intriguing characters. More recently, Cersei was in the headlines after her brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) raped her right next to the dead body of King Joffery for being a "hateful woman."
The incestuous scenes and plot stirred an outrage on Twitter. Viewers condemned the vile rape scene, which the creators claimed would turn "consensual" by the end.
Talking about the controversial scene and Cersei's convoluted love life, Headey told Entertainment Weekly:
"She's trying to reestablish her relationship with Jaime, but it's changed beyond repair. Like I always say, she envies her brother. She believes he can protect her and do what she's not allowed to as a woman."
