Rumor has it that Taylor Swift, the 'Love Story' singer is planning on selling her famous Rhode island mansion, privately.
The Real Estalker is speculating that the 23-year-old singer is quietly looking for a buyer for her waterfront mansion, which she purchased a year ago for $17 million in hard, cold cash.
Swift scored a discount on the purchase. Apparently, the home was listed for $24 million but she snagged it for $7 million less. The residence is dubbed "The High Watch" because it sits on a high mound overlooking 700 feet of shoreline.
The house was built in the 1930s and spans an area of more than 11,000 square feet. Comprised of eight bedrooms, 10 full and one half bathroom and eight fireplaces, the four story place is a luxurious mega mansion.
The main floor has multiple reception/living rooms, a 45-foot-long sun room, a 36-foot-large parlor, a huge modern kitchen and a big adjoining family room. There is a guest bedroom with an attached bathroom on the main floor. The second floor has four other bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and the master suite with two attached baths. Other features of the home include a recreation room, a wet bar, a roof terrace and multiple balconies that open out to the beautiful ocean.
Outside, the home has a five- car heated garage and an uneven B-shaped swimming pool with an adjacent pool house / gym.

The home has often graced property headlines.
In May 2013, a 22-year-old Taylor Swift fan was reportedly arrested on charges of "trespassing" near Swift's mansion. Lucas H. Vorsteveld, a die-hard Swift fan was arrested after he admitted to swimming up to the beach in front of Swift's mansion with the intention of meeting the star crooner.
More recently in January 2014, the 'I knew you were Trouble' crooner got into some trouble for trying to build a perimeter wall around the Rhode Island mansion. Residents of the area were pretty annoyed with Swift for trying to disrupt the public beach and restricting access.
Swift has a home in Beverly Hills, a condo in Nashville, apart from the Rhode Island residence. Her childhood home in Nashville sold for $700,000 last year. The real estate grapevine also reported recently that she snapped up Peter Jackson's Tribeca apartment.
