Will Bethesda Soon Be Fixing The "Blurred Vision" Bug That Has Plagued "Fallout 4" Players for Weeks?

A new bug has been discovered in "Fallout 4" and it has no fix.

"Fallout 4" was a sensational success when it was released but it is not immune to bugs which pop out here and there from time to time. With this newly discovered bug, many have realized that it is best not to delete previously saved files. So for those who have not encountered this just yet, this is a heads up.

According to Polygon, this bug causes permanent blurred vision to the view from the first person or third person perspective in "Fallout 4" that is similar to what players see following a critical hit to the head. While that scenario can be healed as Stimpak, this bug on the other hand has no fix. It is permanent unless you restart the game or reload a file saved before getting this bug. Either way, hours of gameplay could be lost.

Polygon has shared a video of how this bug will affect the player's vision. Looking at the video, it seems that the player has acquired Myopia or nearsightedness, things from afar looked blurred while those near are relatively clear. On the other hand, there is a player complaining of something worse than the bug described above.

According to the Game FAQs where the player posted the complaint, he wrote, "entire world has gone green and the edges of my screen are blurred, kind of like I have a crippled head or maybe a chem addiction, but it seems completely permanent." The player even shared a screenshot on Imgur, and this time it looks like seeing the world through night vision googles. It looks like the bug might only be affecting console version of "Fallout 4," based on a tweet by Owen Good, Senior editor and sports columnist at Polygon.

As previously reported, Bethesda will start delivering its first in the series of patches planned for "Fallout 4" this week. The bug described here needs to be fixed by the first patch.
