In the new episode of "Chicago Fire" Season 4, Chief Boden (Eammon Walker) will still face a lot of challenges, but this time he decides to fight back.
In the previous episodes of the season, Boden faced accusations from Serena (Ilfenesh Hadera), which put his job in jeopardy. It was reported that in "Chicago Fire" Season 4 episode 8, these challenges will continue, and this will push the chief to fight back and look for the real person responsible behind the allegations.
Franchise Herald reports that Boden will be confronting Maddox (Mark Hengst) because he thinks that he is the one behind the resistance against him. In episode 8, Boden will be asking Maddox if all of his suspicions are true, but when he finds out the truth, it was reported that it might not really help him at all.
With the challenges the chief is facing, Severide (Taylor Kinney) will try to help him, but it was reported that his superior Capt. Patterson (Brian White) will not be happy about it.
According to Design & Trend, Severide will be contacting Jamie (Rachel Nichols), who happens to be Maddox's lawyer, to help them. In the previous episode, Severide and Patterson had some rivalry.
While Severide helps Boden find out the truth, it was reported that Patterson will begin to question Boden's ability to hold his position against the negative publicity he has been receiving. In the previous episode, Patterson was offered Boden's job. Is this the reason why he is questioning the chief's capabilities?
Meanwhile, the other members of the department will be working on a new case as Brett (Kara Kilmer) and Chili (Dora Madison) discover a man passed out in a garden. They suspect that he may have a connection to a call about a previous crash site.
"Chicago Fire" Season 4 episode 8 airs on Dec. 1 in NBC.
