Ryan Seacrest and his ex-girlfriend Renée Hall stirred engagement rumors after tabloids reported that the former was seen with a pretty blonde wearing a giant diamond ring at the London's Heathrow Airport, flying back to El Lay on Sunday. The "American Idol" host later clarified the rumors, claiming it was a false report and that he's still on the market.
According to multiple reports, Seacrest, 40, travelled with his friends during the holiday and was with a woman sporting a giant engagement ring on her finger. Several gossip sites immediately speculated that he already proposed to his girlfriend, Hall. Radar Online reports that the "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" host may have put a ring on Hall, whom he dated for eight months.
"The couple was jetting out of London's Heathrow airport when Hall was photographed with the ring," the site reports. The gossip site continued to say that "Hall, a model, wore the bling on her ring finger."
However, Seacrest's engagement rumors easily faded when the 40-year-old television personality rectified the rumors through Twitter. "Not engaged, but man did I get a lot of credit for my buddy's fiancee..." Seacrest wrote on Twitter.
It was later revealed that Seacrest's pal, Kurt Rappaport's fiancee, Sarah Mutch, was the one wearing the engagement ring and not Seacrest's former girlfriend, Hall, Us Weekly reports. Seacrest and his former fling, Hall, dated for about eight months after meeting at his 40th birthday party in Napa Valley through the Marciano brothers, who famously built the Guess brand.
A source close to Seacrest claimed that the host is very much single. He had a brief romance with Hall and was also romantically linked to Miss Teen USA Hilary Cruz. His last girlfriend was a model and fitness enthusiast, Shayna Taylor, whom he dated until late of 2014.
Seacrest has had high-profile relationships and was also linked to Sheryl Crow, Sara Jean Underwood, Sophie Monk, Teri Hatcher and "Dancing With The Stars" pro-turned-judge, Juliane Hough.
