Tina Simpson, actress/singer Jessica Simpson's mother has reportedly purchased "Client List" actress Jennifer Love Hewitt's Toluca Lake home for $4.1 million.
Hewitt never had the home publicly listed and the sale was an off-market deal. She bought the home in 2006 for $5.5 million and has now sold it at $1.4 million loss. She had the home up for rent asking $12,500 a month.
Hewitt also had another property in Toluca Lake, on the same street as this residence. She sold it in 2012 for $2.15 million after listing it for $2.85 million.
Hewitt purchased a Pacific Palisades home for $3.2 million in May last year. At that time, she revealed that buying a home was first on her to-do list. She welcomed her baby daughter "Autumn" in November, soon after after she bought the house. She now lives there with her husband actor Brian Hallisay with whom she tied the knot secretly at about the same time Autumn came.
Meanwhile, it's been a year since Tina Simpson got her divorce finalized from her now ex-husband Joe Simpson. According to the Trulia Blog, Tina could have been leasing Hewitt's home all this while and may have decided to buy the home once it went up for sale privately.
Nevertheless, the price was a good bargain.
The residence is a 3,216-square-foot, single-family home comprised of four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Interiors of the house feature hardwood-flooring, drywall ceilings and glass doors and windows. The two-story home has an office, a gym, a music room and also offers beautiful views of the lake. Outside, there is a pool, a spa and a lakefront dock. There is ample parking space too.

While not living in the luxury of the home, Tina is generally spending time with her granddaughter Maxwell, Jessica's two-year-old girl. Jessica recently posted a picture on Instagram where Tina and Maxwell are seen having some fun time while gardening.
