Allison Adler, the co-creator of hit series "The New Normal" has reportedly sold her home in the Beverly Crest area for $1.82 million just after two months of listing it. However, Adler has taken a slight hit on her asking price.
Allison listed the residence for $1.99 million in March. She bought the property for $1.47 million in 2011 from director Jason Reitman, according to the LA Times.
The home spans an area of 2,459 square feet and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The interiors feature tiled flooring, beamed ceilings and large glass windows and an open floor plan. The modern contemporary house offers airy living spaces that include a media room and an office nook.
Adler bought the home just after her split with actress Sara Gilbert. She opened doors of the residence to Domaine and recalled the whole moving in experience.
"I had no home, no job, and two children," Adler told Domaine.
"So I took this tremendous leap, and was rewarded with the adjective I needed the most in my life: Glee."
Coincidentally, Adler also started work on the musical hit series "Glee" at the same time.
"It's been this crazy year. And in many ways, this house is the birthplace of all of that happiness," she added.
Adler also told the magazine what drew her to the home.
"It has that whole Julius Shulman, Palm Springs feel, and since it's up in the hills, it also feels like a beautiful cabin at summer camp."
Adler and Gilbert finalized their split in August 2011 but the former has been heartbroken ever since. Gilbert moved on with rocker Linda Perry and recently tied the knot but Adler is reportedly furious about the unison.
"It was really hurtful for Allison to basically lose Sara to Linda. To see them splashed all over the news holding hands and being romantic," said a source to RadarOnline.
"When Sara and Linda got engaged last year it was like the final dagger for Allison," the source added.
