‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: TWD Star Andrew Lincoln Reveals What Happens Next After Mid-Season Finale

"The Walking Dead" lead actor Andrew Lincoln talks about what will happen when the show returns after taking a break mid-season.

"The Walking Dead" fans have been talking about how violent the last episode of the mid-season was but "Rick Grimes" himself said there is even more blood and gore in the coming episodes. According to Entertainment Weekly, Lincoln sat down for an interview and revealed what fans and audiences worldwide can hope to expect when the show returns on air.

First, Lincoln talks about the coming eight episodes that would complete "The Walking Dead" Season 6. He said these episodes are by far the toughest they have done but it is also the most gratifying in terms of acting and the storyline. Normally it would have drained their energy and will to keep doing it, but Lincoln said it is what keeps them going and he is very excited to some more as well as his fellow cast members.

He was also asked about all the action sequences they have to do especially in Season 5 when they were trying to escape Terminus. Lincoln beamed about director Mike Satrazemis and praised him for making the seemingly impossible scene to shoot doable. Lincoln said, "How on earth? Particularly that first act where the wall comes down and everybody is spread in different areas and swarmed."

In a report by Unreality TV, Lincoln confirms that the coming TWD Season 6 eight episodes will be exciting and something to look forward to for fans and viewers. He said, "Eight and nine are unbelievable. Unbelievable. They're some of the best episodes I've read and when I was filming, it just got bigger and more epic and more insane every day that we shot."

"The Walking Dead" is scheduled to return to its regular airing in February and if episodes eight and nine are any indication, fans do have something to feel excited about.
