"Outlander" Season 2 is still currently filming but fans are already looking forward for the series and are eager to read spoilers and updates of the show.
Aside from that, fans are also looking into the main characters as well as casting calls. One of the most awaited casts is the actress who will take the role of Brianna Randall, the daughter of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe).
It is reported that the show runners are making sure that they will find the appropriate character. Because they are carefully looking for the right actress, they did not find the perfect actress yet who is fit to play the role of Brianna. Hence, casting for Brianna's role is still ongoing, Diana Gabaldon, author of the "Outlander" series said according to BBC News.
In the upcoming season, Jamie and Claire will travel to France to stop the Battle of Culloden and to visit the family of Jamie. With that, the story will focus more on the political side as the couple discovers another world, Carter Matt reported.
It is also speculated that the second season will be set in Paris since it is where Jamie and Claire headed at the finale of season one. The two will stay with Jamie's cousin from Scotland named Jared Fraser who is played by Robert Cavanagh. It is still unknown on how long they will stay with Jared, Cross Map reported.
In another news, as fans are looking forward for teasers of the show, "Outlander" released a photo on Facebook featuring servants preparing the dining table for a fancy dinner with the caption:"Prepare yer tables. The holiday season is upon us." After that, another photo was posted showing empty chairs with the caption: "These seats won't be empty for long." And another photo where guests are already seated was also posted on social media with a caption that reads: "Gather 'round lads and lassies, today we feast. Slàinte mhath!"
Said photos were allegedly released for the holiday season but others believe that these are scenes from the upcoming season of "Outlander" which will premiere either in March or April 2016.
