Randy Travis, the popular "Forever And Ever, Amen" hitmaker has reportedly listed his ranch in Santa Fe, N.M. for $14.7 million.
News of the listing comes just two months after Travis made his first public appearance after a critical illness. The country crooner was under constant medical care after he underwent an Impella peripheral left ventricular assist device implant in July last year.
Travis bought the property with his then-wife Elizabeth Travis, with whom he had a nasty divorce. But the couple had a lot of fun in the home during 'the good old times'.
According to Zillow, Travis and his wife purchased the land and added several customized buildings to the estate. Interiors of the main home have been designed by Elizabeth. Travis has owned the ranch for about 12 years now.
The ranch is a 220-plus-acre property and is just about 10 minutes away from the Santa Fe Plaza. The main home is a 19,339-square-foot single-family residence. The home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread across two floors.
Interiors of the home feature wood-beamed ceilings, tiled and hardwood flooring. The doors and windows show a mixed French and wooden pattern, some of which are hand carved. Some of its luxury amenities include a media room, a large family room, an office and a dressing room with ample closet space.
Outside, the home has a large three-car garage with snow-melt features.
The listing describes the place as, "a luxury ranch with all the amenities imaginable on fenced 220+ acres less than a 10 minute drive from the Santa Fe Plaza and it has great views of the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountains."
Apart from the ranch, Travis also owned a "Santa Fe-style" home in Maui, Hawaii. He sold it in 2012 for $1.3 million. Check out the house in a video here.
Travis was receiving treatment in Texas. He moved there recently.
