Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, the famous sisters from the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" fame were reportedly denied access to the Hamptons area where they wanted to shoot their reality series "Khloe and Kourtney Take the Hamptons."
Several real estate sources told TMZ that nobody wanted to rent their home to the Kardashian sisters simply because they thought they would "attract too much trash."
A Southampton native suggests that the sisters film their spin-off series in East Hampton because the area is supposed "new money." However, East Hamptons doesn't want the paparazzi swarm or anything to do with the sisters either.
Khloe and Kourtney has reportedly zeroed in on a property on Little Plains Road in Southampton but the neighbors have been upset about it.
"They don't want the hassle of the entourage, the cameras, the paparazzi and all the fanfare that comes with this attention-seeking family," said a source to Daily Mail.
In fact, Mark Epley, the mayor of Southampton Village confirmed the discontent.
"We have had some reaction from some residents. The village is a fairly quiet [one], and I think there is some concern."
However, Entertainment Wise reports that all the discontent are just rumors and shooting is already underway! There is no major concern regarding the shooting and reports of the trouble are apparently "completely exaggerated."
Speculations about the location have also been doing the rounds. While some tabloids reported that they would take up the vacant spot on Jobs Lane, VH1 reported that the Kardashian sisters have chosen 35 Main Street as their location.
"It's a good thing because it will bring a lot of foot traffic to the area," Steven Grigoras of Herrick Hardware, a hardware store right next to the lot, told Hamptons.com.
"It should be another exciting summer in the Hamptons," David Herrick, owner of the store added.
The series is slated to premiere this fall. Khloe and Kourtney will be accompanied by Scott Disick, Kourtney's boyfriend. The sisters will be opening Dash's first pop-up boutique in the area, reports Us Weekly.
