January Jones Buys Home in Los Angeles for $1.7 million

January Jones, the "Mad Men" actress has reportedly bought a family-friendly home in Los Angeles for $1.7 million.

News of the buy comes just two days after reports of Jones' Los Feliz home going up for sale surfaced.

Jones was spotted looking at homes in Los Angeles. According to the Daily Mail, Jones was looking at a roomy white mansion with a terraced lawn and rocky walk-way. Her realtor was also accompanying her. Last year, Jones was home-hunting in the Beverly Hills area and checked out an $11.8 million pad.

Looks like Jones made up her mind pretty fast. The actress reportedly settled for a 3,279-square-foot, single-family home located in a cul-de-sac, private neighborhood. The house has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The double-storey residence has hardwood flooring, large glass windows and doors and vaulted ceilings.

There is a small open kitchen, a formal dining area and a family room with a stone fireplace. Outside, the home has a lush green backyard, a small mud area (where Xander can build his sand castles), a pool with a spa, an outdoor kitchen, an organic garden, a fire pit and a 200 square-feet detached studio too.

Adam Sires of Nourmand & Associates represented Jones in the deal. Sires has the listing of Jones Los Feliz home as well.

Jones purchased her Los Feliz home in 2009 for $1.02 million. The 2,200 square-feet home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Interiors of the house feature hardwood flooring, glass windows and doors and drywall ceilings.

The two-storey residence has a large living area with a stone mantle and fireplace. There is an eat-in kitchen with marble counter-tops. Upstairs, the master bedroom has separate "Jack and Jill" bathrooms. Another bedroom on the floor has a private patio that offers views of the Observatory, according to the Trulia Blog. A detached two-car garage is also available on the property.
