CD Projekt Red's Community Lead & Website Coordinator Marcin Momot assures fans that the upcoming "The Witcher 3" expansion is "Awesome!"
Momot has taken his excitement over the upcoming DLC to his Twitter account. He wrote, "In a meeting looking at all these new features/changes coming to @witchergame with #BloodandWine expansion pack. One word-AWESOME!"
Not much has been said, judging by the tweet. It is relatively a teaser. However, with CD Projekt Red known as the one company responsible for raising RPG standards with "Witcher 3," it is not farfetched to say that the upcoming DLC titled "Blood and Wine" would be "Awesome!"
According to Push Square, in the game's first expansion "Hearts of Stone" it introduced a rune world system that allowed players to further customize Geralt. It was not a very big addition but it was so useful that it had a positive impact to game experience. Therefore, fans have higher expectations for the upcoming expansion including bigger impact, increased size and scope of content.
In another news, Projekt RED Senior Technical Artist José Teixeira has admitted that developers at CD Projekt Red themselves was inspired when they saw "Fallout 4." He further believes that the rivalry is healthy for both developers because it assures the gaming community that developers will continue to deliver superb quality RPGs.
Speaking of the rivalry, he explained, "Here in the studio we are all major gamers, and although each one has their preferences, almost everyone loves RPGs. I think this rivalry between the two studios ultimately benefits both the players, and the studios themselves, forcing us to always do better."
CD Projekt Red therefore should be inspired to deliver bigger content and "Blood and Wine" better not disappoint the fans.
"The Witcher 3" expansion pack "Blood and Wine" will be released in 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
