Elements from "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be featured in "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."
According to GameRant, the announcement came from Square Enix Game Director Tetsuya Nomura himself. This could bring a sigh of relief to all "Kingdom Hearts 3" fans, who have been waiting the game's release for a very long time now. It has been reported that the game will come in 2016, but Nintendo has yet to announce a specific date.
With the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" fans can finally get a taste of the gameplay that will be presented in "Kingdom Hearts 3" ahead of its release.
As for "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" itself, according to Game Informer, it will come with the HD remake of "Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance," a short movie titled "Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover," and a fresh experience titled "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage."
"Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep," reportedly has a gameplay that was structured similarly to "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, this title will only take a few hours to complete but the real catch is that it will serve as a demo for the game experience in "Kingdom Hearts 3."
Square Enix is known for releasing multiple demos before the company releases titles. As previously reported, the company is coming up with another Playable Demo for "Final Fantasy XV" and it is rumored to be the last demo before the game is finally released. But unlike "Final Fantasy's" demo that is set in "Episdoe Duscae," Square Enix is giving fans a glimpse of "Kingdom Heart 3" instead of soliciting fan feedback.
If the developers are not looking for fan feedback, it is most likely that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is at its final stage of completion. Hopefully a definite release date will be announced after "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is launched.
