"Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" of Warner Bros trailer is out following the trailer release of Disney’s pre-Thanksgiving "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Captain America: Civil War."
The full trailer will debut during the Jimmy Kimmel Live show but prior to that, fans are treated to a 49 seconds clip where Superman played by Henry Cavill arrives in a scene that shows Batman played by Ben Affleck in chains. Superman appears very angry while he lands on the ground giving Batman a sharp look. He then marches towards Batman past some soldiers to reach out for his mask.
The clip makes viewers think that what they just saw is Batman's paranoid nightmare when Superman rules the world. It even shows Superman removing the mask of Batman which makes it look more intriguing as it signifies that Batman is being defeated. Fans will find out more of it in the upcoming film or maybe on the trailer.
The less than a minute trailer is actually merely a trailer for a trailer since the full trailer is still for release to the public, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" is set in the following the success of 2013’s Man of Steel. In the movie, the world became aware of the existence of superheroes and Batman arrives to confront Superman who has a godlike power. But as powerful billionaire Lex Luthor creates his own plan, a conflict would lead to the formation of the Justice League.
Aside from Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, other stars who are part of the film are Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Batman’s butler/armorer Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White, Diane Lane as Superman’s mom Martha Kent and Holly Hunter as U.S. Senator Finch, Deadline reported.
Gal Gadot will also be introduced as Wonder Woman while other DC heroes will include Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Tao Okamoto as Lex Luthor’s bodyguard Mercy Graves.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25.
